OPSWAT is excited to announce the release of Metadefender 3.0.5, which offers a customizable UI and new configurable printout capabilities from the Metadefender kiosk. The latest version is available for download through the new OPSWAT Portal.
With the Metadefender 3.0.5 release, administrators can now customize the user experience with regional specific languages. At each Metadefender kiosk, users can now select several languages including English, Hebrew, Arabic, and Japanese, with additional languages coming in the near future. The localization functionality also includes the ability to further customize the phrasing depicted throughout the Metadefender kiosk via the Metadefender Management Console. Administrators are able to configure the keyboard on the kiosk to adjust according to the selected language, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
Version 3.0.5 also provides the ability to customize the printouts on the files scanned by the Metadefender kiosk. Administrators can elect to include all of the available information via a printout, or only some of the information. The data available for printing includes file type totals, threats, deleted files, quarantined files, password protected files, failed to scan files, skipped files, file type analysis results, blocked files, and clean files.
Finally, we have added some additional default profiles to the workflow profiles. These new profiles include examples of how different policies can be set for different users’ to help define more secure data workflows.
